PHILLIP DRAWBRIDGE - BIOGRAPHY

I was born and grew up in Tunbridge Wells in Kent, United Kingdom where I lived until I left the country in 2004.
I studied computers and art at school, but for a career I went the computer route and worked for 2 companies. One a software house(Cardbox) and then a recruitment company as their IT manager. I left a few years back so I could spend a few months in America with Gale. When I returned to England I contracted for a while before deciding that my place was in America. So we started the immigration processes and in June of 2004 I moved over to America for good. I'm now a Unconditional Permanent Resident and have a green card good through 2018!!
My main hobby is art. I learnt traditional art at school and
still dabble with pen, pencil and paints. But Computer Graphics
takes most of my time. I use a variety of software including Bryce, Carrara, Wings3d and Photoshop.
I can be found in various places around the
net. Normally in Renderosity. But also a
few of
the other Bryce and CG forums. See the links page.
Another hobby is photography. I keep upgrading my camera,
currently on my 6th decent digital camera. It's a Canon
Digital Rebel xt
and it is an amazing camera.
I've worked at Half
Price Books, a second hand book store, for well over 5 years now and it's perfect. Just
the kinda thing I wanted to get into. And all the people I work with
are nice, which is a bonus. :-)
So that's keeping me busy and just about paying the bills.
My galleries are split into Photography and Art and use the fantastic Zenphoto. Please take a look. If you see any you would like printed, let me know.
Please look around and visit often. You can even use RSS to get updates when I post images. Use these links for the galleries Photography & Art I use Google News Reader and if you use iGoogle then you can even add the feed to your home page.

If you are a Drawbridge I'm trying to make a complete family tree. There are several trees which I'm having trouble linking together. You can see my tree HERE and another (called George) HERE.
